What is BestProducts?
BestProducts is a new comparison website that helps you find the product you want, in just one search. Our goal is to take the stress out of shopping and to help consumers make better informed buying decisions, by allowing users to do product research before purchasing, in a much faster and easier way.
How does BestProducts differ from other comparison & review websites?
Harnessing the "wisdom of the crowd", we show users only the best-rated products based on their search criteria. Similar sites may list hundreds of products, providing little information to help customers evaluate the best ones.
What does "Wisdom of the crowd" mean?
This is the data that we collect from thousands of online customer reviews, expert consumer blog articles, sales data, manufacturer specs and social media posts.
Where does BestProducts collect its data from?
Our algorithm reads thousands of online customer reviews, expert consumer blog articles, sales data, manufacturer specs and social media posts and sorts it into a list of the top rated products.
How is the data collected by BestProducts used?
The data is sorted by our algorithm to determine which items have received the most positive (or negative) reviews from both customers and product experts as well as what people are saying about brands and how products’ prices and sales numbers compare to similar items.
How does the rating system work?
Once our algorithm has finished analyzing the data, it determines a “Value Rating” for the product based on this information
How are the top rated products displayed?
The top rated products are displayed in a list, with the highest rated product first.
How often is BestProducts’s list of highest ranked products updated?
Our site is automatically updated every 30 minutes.
Do I have to register to use BestProducts?
No, you do not need to register to use our site.
Is BestProducts free?
Yes. Using our site is completely free.
How do I use BestProducts?
Type what you are looking for into the “What Are You Shopping For?” or “I’m looking for” box and press enter. Alternatively, click on any of the "Trending Products" or "Popular Categories" at the bottom of the home page.
What are "Popular Categories"?
Popular categories are lists of products that people are searching, buying and reviewing the most on BestProducts.
What are "Trending Products"?
Trending Products are lists of product brands that people are searching for, buying and reviewing currently on BestProducts.
How do I search for a product?
Type what you are looking for into the “What Are You Shopping For?” or “I’m looking for” box and press enter. The best rated products of each category will come up allowing you to compare features and ratings by scrolling up and down the page.
How many products should I see on the the Best Rated List of products?
This will vary from 1 – 10. We only display products with good reviews and positive posts and present them to you in a list of no more than ten results.
How do I compare products?
Once you have the Best Rated List, compare different products by looking at the rating marks. We have also made it easier for you to evaluate the products by clearly displaying which products have been designated the "Consumers Choice", "Trending" and "Experts Pick" on your list.
What is "Consumers Choice"?
This is the product within a category that has received the most positive online reviews by consumers according to the information we've collected and analyzed.
What is "Trending"?
This is the product within a category that is currently the most discussed and searched product within a category according to the information we've collected and analyzed.
What is "Experts Pick"?
This is the product within a category that has received the best reviews from experts on quality according to the information we've collected and analyzed.
Why is my favorite brand not on the list?
If your favorite brand is not on the list, it is possible it is not rated high enough by other consumers within that specific category. It may, however, be found on the Best Rated List of another category.
I can’t find the category I am looking for, what do I do?
We are constantly striving to make sure that all the categories users could possibly want are available and are correctly displayed. If you still can’t find what you need, please feel free to contact us and we will do what we can to include that category or help you find what you are looking for.
How can I buy the products I have compared?
Once you have found the product you wish to purchase, you can either click on the online shopping links provided or visit any of your preferred shopping centers, malls or online stores.
How do I compare prices?
You can compare prices by clicking the ‘compare prices’ tab.
Do I have to buy from the online store links provided?
You are not obligated to purchase your products from the online shopping stores listed.
What is the shopping guide?
These are buying guides to help you compare, review and choose the perfect product for you.
What information is in the shopping guide?
It is a compilation of helpful hints, great advice, tips and hot topics that people have discussed when reviewing each category.
I can’t find the shopping guide for my category!
We are researching helpful hints daily and although not all categories have a shopping guide yet, we are working hard to get them all uploaded soon.
Can I advertise my product or brand on BestProducts?
We do not advertise products. All the best products are listed from existing data collected and doesn’t come from advertising or paid sources.
How can I list my product or brand on BestProducts?
We do not manually list specific brands or products. All the best products are listed from existing data collected and doesn’t come from advertising or paid sources.
How can I promote my product on BestProducts?
We do not promote products or accept advertising payment. If your product consistently gets positive online reviews and performs better than others in its category, our algorithm will pick it up from online data and your product will then be automatically displayed on the site.
